  • Create the English title logo to evoke a similar look and feel to the original Japanese title.

DESIGN PROCESS
  • Research:
    • Look into the film to find out what it's about, its genre, and its themes, along with similar films.
    • Browse font libraries for type that is similar to the Japanese title design.
  • Execution:
    • Sketch/plan design, drawing inspiration from the research and pulling elements from the source Japanese design.
    • Decided to hand letter the design for a unique appearance.
    • Submit to the project manager for approval or for feedback to make revisions.
    • After approval, the design goes through a design quality and PM check before delivery to the client.

Once the client approved my English design, languages with Latin characters followed its design.
