The Colorado Lotus Project
Highlighting Colorado's AANHPI communities' experiences, the Colorado Lotus Project looks underneath the umbrella term of "Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders", at Colorado's specific ethnic communities, offering a rigorous amount of data and stories from participants.
Through collaboration with Colorado Health Institute and the Colorado AAPI Circle, I created a cover capturing their vision for the report. The backdrop is lined with the Rocky Mountains and Denver's city skyline, with lotus flowers filling the rest of the space. They are representative of the resilient Colorado AANHPI communities, paving their way out of the murky water to form the flower petals with their hands. Find the full report here. This cover artwork was commissioned by Colorado Health Institute. |
